We call this one the butterfly and I’m sure you can see why? This style of table is called ‘book matching’. This is when you choose two slabs from the same trunk that sit next to each other so they have almost identical markings.
We carefully hand picked the walnut slabs to ensure the very best quality and end result.
The character, markings and colour doesn’t come along very often. These two amazing slabs have been combined with a tinted, epoxy resin river to bind the two slabs together to make one very solid table. As you can see black epoxy works great with walnut as it enhances the darker brown tones and overall rustic feel.
For legs we have added 4 steel box sections so that the chairs could comfortably fit into either side. The simple box section legs keeps the attention on the table top for everyone to take in.
This is a favourite of ours and won’t last long!
