The table top showcases a trail of stunning bow ties which not only catches the eye, but also decreases the chance of additional splitting. However, in this example it’s mainly an aesthetic purpose as we have used epoxy resin to also reinforce the natural cracks.
 
Traditional cross lap joints have been used in the base, along with a solid oak brace with pegs to secure.
